This Privacy Policy explains how KatSquare ("we") collects, uses and protects your information on Hospet.online jobs (jobs.hospet.online). We comply with applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

  • Your name, phone number and optional email.
  • Profile details you choose to add (qualifications, experience, expected salary, skills).
  • Your resume, if you upload or build one.
  • For employers: company details and optional verification documents (e.g. GSTIN).
  • Payment metadata (transaction status/IDs). Card and bank details are handled by our payment partner, not by us.

How we use it

  • To operate the job marketplace, match seekers and employers, process payments and provide support.
  • Your phone number is used for OTP login and is never shown publicly.
  • Your resume and contact details are visible only to employers whose jobs you have applied to - never to the public and never to other employers.
  • Verification documents are seen only by our admin team.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers who help us run the platform (e.g. payment gateway, SMS provider) under confidentiality obligations, or where required by law. We do not sell your personal data.

Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of cookies, and Google Analytics 4, to run the site and understand how it is used:

  • Essential cookies keep you signed in and protect forms against misuse. The site cannot work without them, so they are always on.
  • Google Analytics 4 tells us which pages and job categories people actually use, so we can improve the site. It sets its own cookies and receives your IP address (shortened by Google), device and browser type, and the pages you visit. Google acts as our analytics provider and processes this on our behalf; see Google's privacy policy.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share this data with advertisers.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics entirely using Google's opt-out add-on. The site continues to work normally if you do.

Security & retention

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards and retain data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your profile data at any time, or request account deletion via the Contact page.

Grievance Officer

In accordance with Indian law, our Grievance Officer is reachable at jobs@hospet.online and Door No.1867, Garuda Complex, Asst No.1867, Mp Prakash Nagar, Hospet, Ballari (Bellary) - 583201. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within the statutory timeframe.
